Databases are made available to you by the Lynbrook Library and they allow you to search through thousands of indexed articles from hundreds of journals, newspapers and magazines.

- A great search engine for kids.
- Nassau Library's "KIDSPAGE"
- Developed by several Nassau Library Children's Librarians, this site offers links to many different subjects; homework help, search tools and author sites to name a few.
For Teens:
- Colleges, College Scholarhips & Financial Aid Page
- An online directory of college and university admissions office email addresses and telephone numbers, college scholarship and financial aid office email addresses, and links to the home pages and online applications of more than a thousand colleges and universities.
- Fastweb
- A directory to college scholarships. Tip: When signing up, don't use your primary email address. This site generates a huge amount of email. You may want to create an email account just for this.
- Test Prep Preview
- A free standardized test practice site. Many test skills are available to practice.
